There is a picture at the top with the caption "The Snoqualmie Falls Lumber Co., later to become Weyhaeuser, created a mill town as seen in this 1919 photo. The article is about the final closing of the Snoqualmie mill after operating for 85 years. The company laid off 110 workers who were employed at the mill. The machinery was to be salvaged and moved to other locations. |
